Tomorrow morning I am going for a CAT scan. I am very nearly done my chemo and this is the normal procedure.
I see my radiologist on Tuesday. I am going to let him know that I am taking the month of July off!!!! No treatments until August.
I so desperately need a break.
I feel terrific. The symptoms from my last chemo were harder but did not last any longer than the usual. Once the drug sickness wears off I am good to go.
Update: All went well this morning.
Dodi - I start my radiation on 22 June, for 25 days. I just finished my second chemo and since I am doing the new "sandwich" protocol, I do radiation in-between and then 2 more chemos. I will let you know how the radiation goes as I will be done before you start.
ReplyDeleteThe CAT scan and SIM set-up were easy--taking less than 30 minutes each. Nothing compared to chemo!
